He was predeceased by: his parents, O'Dell Dalton Shackelford and Evelyn Kathleen Shackelford (Moore); and his son LeDell Shackelford. He is survived by: his wife Sammie Shackelford of Paradise; his children, Jason Shackelford (Stephanie) of Midlothian, Texas and Misty Tierney (Kevin) of Vernon; his brother Larry Shackelford (Bunny) of Fort Worth, Texas; and his grandchildren, Dalton McCord, Myles Tierney, M'Kayla Tierney of Aiden, AJ and Parker Shackelford.
