He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Rickaby and Lillian Groenen; his wife Donna Gayan; his sons, Dale and Steven Gayan; and his brother Richard Gayan.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Gayan and Dianna Banda; his grandchildren, Melanie, Mindy, Misty, Marcy, Steven, Staci and Nicole; and his great grandchildren, Ty, Colby, Carsyn, Emma, Lana, Brylei, Kooper, Keegan, Kolter, Kaylor, Cash, Levi, Nate and Reese.
