With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lorene Yvonne Gentry (Paradise, Texas), who passed away on March 12, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Niblett and Ruby Niblett; her granddaughter Shonna Perry; and her great grandchild Kyndall Gentry. She is survived by: her husband Donald Isaac Gentry (Don); her children, Donna Weeden of Cottondale, Glenn Gentry (Jean) of Cottondale, Roger Gentry (Carla) of Cottondale and Gary Gentry (Sherry) of Decatur; and her sister Edna Wood of Paradise. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Donations may be made to Wise County Historical Society, Inc.; Paradise Historical Society, Inc. or First Baptist Church of Cottondale in lieu of flowers.
