He is survived by: his children, Jimmy Dave Pewitt of Waurika, Oklahoma, Teresa Pewitt of Bridgeport and Robin Dethloff (Leon) of Paradise, Texas; his siblings, Melvin Pewitt (Lanelle) of Alvord, Texas and Sylvia Richardson (Joe) of Paradise, Texas; his sister-in-law Pat Pewitt of Mineral Wells, Texas; his grandchildren, Danielle Pierson (Mace) of Paradise, Jacob Morris (Twylla) of Decatur, Kendall Dethloff (Rikki) of Paradise and Kelton Dethloff (Jillian) of Paradise, Texas; and his great grandchildren, Christopher, Coy, Rylie, Randi and Lilli. He is also survived by family members and friends.
