It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Shackelford of Paradise, Texas, born in Fort Worth, Texas, who passed away on July 12, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, O'Dell Dalton Shackelford and Evelyn Kathleen Shackelford (Moore); and his son LeDell Shackelford. He is survived by: his wife Sammie Shackelford of Paradise; his children, Jason Shackelford (Stephanie) of Midlothian, Texas and Misty Tierney (Kevin) of Vernon; his brother Larry Shackelford (Bunny) of Fort Worth, Texas; and his grandchildren, Dalton McCord, Myles Tierney, M'Kayla Tierney of Aiden, AJ and Parker Shackelford.
