She was predeceased by: her parents, Maren Claude Fowler and Patricia Clarina Stewart Fowler; her son David Lee Pierce; and her siblings, Maren Claude Fowler Jr., Luther Fowler and Sandra Kay Fowler Turner.

She is survived by: her husband Jim Burdett of Panorama Village; her children, Robert (Norma Hendrickson) of La Grange, TX and Beth (James Capps) of Hempstead, TX; her brothers, Tim (Connie Fowler) of Tomball, TX and Eugene Fowler of Willis, TX; her brother-in-law Woodrow Turner of Recklaw, TX; her grandchildren, Jesse Hendrickson, Jamie Hendrickson, Dallas Pierce, Kayla Pierce, David Pierce III and Jamisen Capps; and her great grandchildren, Juliet, Zoey, Giselle, Jewel, Mathew and Michael Hendrickson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
