With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Ann Holland of Panola, Texas, who passed away on December 23, 2020 at the age of 98. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary Ann Holland to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her grandson John W. Duke; her parents, Millard Robinson and Ruth Middlebrook Robinson; her husband William Raybun Holland; and her sons-in-law, Thomas Garrett and Johnny Saunders.

She is survived by: her daughters, Carolyn Duke (William) of Clayton and Rebecca Garrett of Charlotte, NC.; her grandsons, John Duke (Lydia), Robert Duke (Pam), Steven Saunders (Kathryn), Guy Saunders and Bradley McClain (Rachel); her great grandchildren, John Christopher Duke (Marguerite), Hannah Duke, Hunter Duke, Eliza Saunders, Kate Saunders, Lilly Saunders, Skylar Fink, T. J. McClain and Donnie McClain; and her great great grandchildren, John William Duke II, Anna Duke and Miriam Duke. She is also survived by sister, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Due to the Covid pandemic, the family will have a private graveside service.

Memorials may be made to the Clayton Cemetery (Kay Mauritzen) 2372 FM 1970, Carthage, Texas 75633.

I last visited with her at a 50 year wedding anniversary celebration for Sid & Allyene Cassity a couple of years ago. Kept up with her through my daughter in law Pam Pierce. I just gave her the news. Please accept my condolences for your loss of a wonderful mother and a great person. Alfred Croix”
