She is survived by: her parents, Jay Shadid and Patrice Shadid; her siblings, Carrie Smith of Panhandle, Brady Shadid of Panhandle and Corby Shadid of Panhandle; her son Luke Battle of Panhandle; her sisters-in-law, Kary Shadid and Joy Shadid of Panhandle; and her nieces and nephews, Jay Patrick Shadid of Fort Benning, GA, Ethan Shadid of Phoenix, AZ, Margaret Smith of Panhandle, Prezley Shadid of Panhandle, Julianna Smith of Panhandle, Evan Shadid of Panhandle, John David Smith of Panhandle and Wil Shadid of Panhandle. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and many, many friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations can be made to the Carson County Square House Museum or to a favorite charity.
