He was predeceased by: his parents, Carrie Adelia Cummings Stamps and Alvin Garner Stamps; his siblings, Adelia Norene Stamps, Beulall Arlena Stamps, Terecia (Doyle Chapin) and Thelma Ruth (Don Shuttlesworth); and his siblings-in-law, Lou Stamps, Luther Bailey, Bill Rawlins and Vance Ayers.
He is survived by: his son Gaylon Stamps; his wife Leona Stamps; his daughters, Ann (Gary Beddingfield) of Panhandle and Adelia; and his siblings, Oleta Ayers, Betty Rawlins, Garner Stamps (Alice), LeeAnn (Sonny Hicks), Mahala Bailey, David Stamps (Sally), Earl Stamps (Mary) and Norman Stamps (Joyce).
