We are sad to announce that on August 2, 2021, at the age of 54, Melanie Hicks of Panhandle, Texas, born in Amarillo, Texas passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Melanie Hicks to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Douglas Shemwell and Virginia Lee Walls Shemwell. She is survived by: her husband Bryan Scott Hicks of Panhandle; her daughters, Casey Hicks-Steward (Brandon) of Amarillo and Andie Hicks-Stewart (Hunter) of Killeen; her brother Ralph Shemwell (Melinda) of Panhandle; her nephew Ryan Shemwell (Shelby) of Hinesville, Georgia; and her niece Hanna Williams (Westin) of Panhandle. She is also survived by brother and sister-in-laws; and numerous nieces and nephews.
