He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Koetting and Sybilla Koetting; and his brothers, Marvin, Gene, Leonard and James.
He is survived by: his wife Terri Thomas; his children, Chris Koetting (Rosemary) of Canadian, Texas and Lesley Gershmel (Gard) of Cove, Texas; his grandchildren, Lauren Koetting, Bill Koetting, Jack Koetting, Landon Gershmel and Jai Gershmel; and his siblings, Caroline Longest of Amarillo and John Koetting of Groom. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
