He was predeceased by: his grandmothers, Billie Hayes and Tommie Scott. He is survived by: his stepmother Linda Martin; his wife Dana Martin; his stepchildren, Ariel Carrillo and Prestin "Tucker" Sherman; his parents, Diana Scott and Larry Martin; his brother Daven Martin; and his son James Brewer. He is also survived by his numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, and friends.
