It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Vick of Panhandle, Texas, born in Lelia Lake, Texas, who passed away on August 19, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Naylor and Dana Arnold Naylor; her husband Melvin; her sons, Johnny Gayle Vick and Robert Lynn Vick; and her brothers, Rev. J. R. Naylor, Rev. Wayne Naylor and Calvin Naylor.
She is survived by: her daughter Carolyn Apel of Panhandle; her grandchildren, Donna Popplewell, Deana Vick, Johnny Vick, Joe Iles (Victoria) and Michael Iles; her daughter-in-law Doris Vick of Amarillo; her brother Rev. Joe Naylor (Nadeene) of Dyersburg, TN; and her sisters-in-law, Lila Vick of Denton and Shirley Riggans (Harry) of Amarillo. She is also survived by her 17 Great Grandchildren, her nine Great Great Grandchildren.
Memorials in her memory may be made to the 1st Baptist Church of Panhandle or to the 55+ Club.
