He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur William Jewett and Rosie Etta Beck Jewett; his son David Hicks; and his siblings, Birda Ferguson, Nola Blalock, Lorene Caffee, Doris Osburn, Elaine Montgomery, Clifford Jewett and John Jewett.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Faye DeBord; his children, Todd Jewett (Theresa) of Panhandle, Toby Jewett (Becky) of Fritch, Tammy Wendel (Greg) of Panhandle, Sherry McEwen (Skeeter) of Amarillo, Paula Butler (James) of Amarillo and Misty Kelly (Dee) of Amarillo; and his brother Robert Jewett of Greenboro, PA. He is also survived by 18 Grandchildren, 23 Great Grandchildren, 3 Great Great Grandchildren and many extended family.
