He was predeceased by: his parents, John Simmons and Gladys Simmons; and his brother Larry Simmons. He is survived by: his wife Linda Crupper; his children, Ginger Franco (Ricky) of Carlsbad and Derrek Woodard (Samantha McCoy); his brother Johnny Simmons of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; and his grandchildren, Jimmy Craig of Albuquerque, Meagan Crain (Jake) of Pampa and Shannon Craig of Midland. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
