He was predeceased by: his parents, Roby Pickering and Jake Pickering; his wife Lucille Pickering; and his siblings, Alice English and Charles Pickering.

He is survived by: his children, Connie Ogle (Chris Lockridge) of Pampa and Tommy Pickering (Darlyn) of Booker; his grandchildren, Dan Ogle (Christie) of Pampa, Kylie Pickering of Amarillo, Braeden Pickering of Pampa, Kael Goelz of Blanchard and Jacey Hopkins; his great grandchildren, Mayce Ogle, Lilye Ogle and Wakely Ogle; and also Rose Steel of McLean. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Per the family's request, they ask that if donations are preferred, please plant a tree in memory of their loved one.
