He was predeceased by: his parents, James Earl and Betty Lou Schaffer. He is survived by: his wife Gretchen Schaffer; his stepchildren, Haleigh Jefferson (Cody) of Cheyenne, Jason Dudley of Hereford and Ella Dudley of Hereford; his grandson Colton Jefferson of Cheyenne, Wyoming; his sisters, Brenda Guess (Mike) of Pampa and Jamilou Williams (Marc "Tiny") of Pampa; his aunt Peggy Beckham of Pampa; and his nephew Wes. He is also survived by several great-nieces, great-nephews, and other extended family.
