It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vondel Switzer Samberson of Pampa, Texas, born in Clinton, Oklahoma, who passed away on March 30, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dillard Hubbart and Irene Hubbart; her spouse Eddie Switzer; her brother Wayne Hubbart; and her great grandchildren, Hayden Alexander and Rebeckah Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Debbie Smith of Pampa, Vickie Alexander (Curt) of Canyon, Mickie Dawson (Ronnie) of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and John Switzer (Shirley) of Florahome, Florida; and her grandchildren, Robin Meek (Greg), Stacie Ramirez (Matthew), Scot Smith (Shelly), Kara Floyd (Mark), Amy Archer (Matt), Craig Alexander, Megan Switzer, Lindi Plummer (Jeff) and Joshua Smith. She is also survived by 19 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren.
