With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Shirley Powell of Pampa, Texas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Shirley left this world on March 23, 2025 at the age of 89, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bertha Lee True Allison and Jacob Place Allison; and her husband Charles Neil Powell. She is survived by: her children, Vickie Morton (Rudy) of Amarillo and Tommy Powell of Borger; her grandchildren, Christina McGeorge (Roland) of Broken Arrow, Jeremy Powell (Felicia) of Clarendon, Shawna Hennig (Billy) of Kelton, Marc Maule of Slaton, TX, Dustin Powell of Borger and Shannon Dillehay (Ed) of Amarillo; her great grandchildren, Charmayne Hampton of Shamrock, Chantelle Blair (Zach) of Amarillo, Cheyenne Pruett (Richard) of Sanger, TX, Jacob Maule (Kelly) of Lubbock, Brett Hennig (Erykah) of Clarendon and Stacey Hennig of Kelton; her great great grandchildren, Dakota Blair, Lane Hennig, Sterling Pruett and Jayce Maule; and her sisters, Jane Belt and Linda Everson of Pampa. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 12:15 PM at the Carmichael - Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory (600 N Ward St, Pampa, TX 79065). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Fairview Cemetery (1500 Duncan St, Pampa, TX 79065).
