He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy Davis and Aletha Raye Davis (Smith); and his sister Joni Davis. He is survived by: his siblings, Jan Shaw (Charlie) of Montgomery, TX, Gay-Lynn Couts (Clint) of Pampa, TX, Lisa Gill (Chris) of Canadian, TX, Craig Davis (Amy) of Friendswood, TX and Tim Davis of Amarillo, TX.; and his nieces and nephews, Dagan McCann, Caleb McCann, Zach Shaw, Colton Shaw, Joshuah Ellis, Sarah Simon, Lindsey McCormick, Lauren Couts, Cody Gill, Clay Gill, Caylee Gill, Brittney Davis, Darcy Davis, Ryne Davis and Tanner Davis. He is also survived by the oldest of seven siblings.

In lieu of flowers, Scott requested memorials to Calvary Baptist Youth Scholarship Fund or Hemphill County Hospice.
