He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. James E. Stowers (Laura Smith Stowers) and Laura Stowers; his brother James E. Stowers, Jr.; and his sister-in-law Virginia Stowers. He is survived by: his father-in-law Frank Culberson; his son Always; his wife Dorothy; his children, Susie Jasurda of Orland Park, Illinois, Richard W. Stowers, Jr. (Janet) of Pampa and Frank K. Stowers (Kim) of Midland; his grandchildren, Sean Stowers (Danielle) of San Antonio, Kelley Lawrence (Rhett) of Allen, Jake Jasurda (Jessica) of Chicago, Jeff Jasurda (Amelia) of Chicago, A. J. Jasurda of Buxton, Liz Stowers of Midland and Katt Stowers of Midland; his daughter Regina Stucchi; and his caregivers, Dick, Reyna Portillo, Digna Chilton, Rosie Whiteley and Lorena Rodriguez. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
