He is survived by: his wife Evangelina Gonzalez of Pampa; his children, Silvia Portillo (Julian) of Pampa, Gerardo Portillo (Rosario) of Juarez, Manuel Portillo, Gisela of Pampa and Gabriela Portillo (Omar) of Juarez; and his sisters, Silvia Portillo of Juarez, Guadalupe Portillo of Roswell, Pura Portillo of Roswell and Gloria Portillo of Pampa. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson and a great-great-granddaughter.
