With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phyllis Sue Meeks of Pampa, Texas, born in Sayre, Oklahoma, who passed away on March 7, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Holder and Mary Holder; her husband James Meeks; her siblings, Joyce Qualls, Rose Mary Richardson, Faye Lusby and Roy Oliver Holder, Jr.; her sons-in-law, Brian Hoyt, Thomas Carpenter and Scott Parks; and her great grandchild Cade Alexander Parks.
She is survived by: her daughters, Tammey Hoyt of Portland, Phyllis Hargett (Victor) of Sturgis and Jamie Carpenter of Pampa; her brother Elmer Holder of Pampa; her sister-in-law Dorothy Holder of San Diego, California; and her grandchildren, Suzanne Groff (Kevin), Nikki Daughtry (Latham), Kayce Jones (Tristan), Lindsey Carpenter and Thomas Carpenter. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
