He is survived by: his wife Ruby Meek; his children, Johnny Meek of Fort Worth, Tim Meek (Elaine) of Byron, Minnesota and Phyllis Latterell (Wayne) of Lino Lakes, Minnesota; his sister Marjy Olson of Gary, Indiana; his granddaughters, Kayla Latterell, Laura Latterell of Minneapolis, Nicole Rose Latterell of Lino Lakes, Katelyn Meek of Byron, Minnesota, Naomi Meek of Byron, Minnesota and Cecelia Ruby Meek of Byron, Minnesota; and his sisters-in-law, Vivian Romines of Pampa and Peggy Chambers of Longview.
