He was predeceased by: his siblings, Odessa, Lorene, Maudie Williams, Letha Campbell, Denola McWilliams, Elton Minyard, Glen Minyard, Bob Minyard and Bill Minyard; his daughter Tammy Henthorn; his sons-in-law, Randy Suttle and Jon Bender; and his great grandchild Westley Thomas Griffin.

He is survived by: his spouse Maud Pendergrass; his children, Christine Griffin of Pampa, Joyce Bender of Pampa, Louan Suttle of Pampa and Jimmy Minyard (Gina) of Pampa; his son-in-law Dean Henthorn of Pampa; his sister Florene Thomas of Henryetta; his grandchildren, Deon Bender (Aisling) of Dubai, Jessica Bender Kohl (Ben) of Paradise, Waylon Griffin (Caroline) of Cary, Willie Griffin (Jeannie) of Pampa, Anson Henthorn (Leandra) of Canyon, Tamra Henthorn Turner (Greg) of Wasilla, Angela Henthorn Detten (Dustin) of Coppell, Kaylee Suttle of Pampa, Callie Coleman of Pampa, Jared Minyard of Pampa, Brandie Coberley of Amarillo and Sherie Minyard McClure (Travis) of Amarillo; and his great grandchildren, Daphne Aguilar, Braden Kohl, Aaliyah Torres, Hayden Coleman, Braylin Coleman, Sophie Griffin, Wyatt Griffin, Kylie Detten, Conner Detten, Samuel Henthorn, Luke Via, Ethan Via, Paden Stewart and Ashley McClure. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
