With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maynard Gaylon Applegate Jr. of Pampa, Texas, who passed away on May 11, 2023 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Maynard Sr. Applegate and Minnie Applegate; his siblings, Gaylon Applegate, Kenneth Applegate, Francis Hobart, Katy Holmes, Gladys Walker and Edna Fox; his grandson Patrick Nichols; his wife Gloria Applegate of Pampa; his children, Mark Applegate (Shaunda) of Panhandle, Patsy Bridwell (Brian) of Pampa, Brenda O'Dell of Pampa and Amy Nelson of Pampa; his siblings, Chris Applegate (Kathy) of Levelland, Rudy Applegate of Littlefield, Judy Brown of Amarillo and Margaret Scott of Hereford; and his grandchildren, Matthew Applegate, Regina Hild, Jamie Applegate, Camery Applegate, Jorden Winegeart, Frank Nichols, Renee Nichols and Heather Mendoza. He was also cherished by numerous great-grandchildren.
