He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Hickman and Ophelia Paige Hickman; and his siblings, Virgil Hickman, Jr., Nolan Hickman, Howard Hickman, Travis Hickman, Dauphine Cooley and Peggy Hernandez.
He is survived by: his wife Marie Hickman; his children, Tyson Hickman (Alicia), Belinda Whitley, Kirk Hickman (Kim), Grant Hickman, Ruth Ann Rollins and Dewayne Hickman; his brother Charles Cheek; and his grandchildren, Andru Hosler and Rory Hickman. He is also survived by several other grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and many close friends.
