He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Freeda Arlene Whitson and John Whitson; his sister Joanna Lynn Whitson; his grandparents, William Christian, Viola Bybee, Milton and Elizabeth Whitson; his wife Lillian Whitson of Pampa; his stepchildren, Ronald Thomason of Texline, Keith Raines of Borger and Laura Johnson of McLean; his granddaughter Jacqueline "Jac" Altis; his brother John A. Whitson (Lillian); and his cousins, Teresa, Jeff Prince, Ashley, Justin Wadsworth, Sydney Wadsworth, Mason Wadsworth and Brooklynn Wadsworth. He was also cherished by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
