She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter J. Barkey and Josephine M. Barkey; her husband Mack Smigielski; and her son Robert Smigielski. She is survived by: her children, Sue Gordon (Ken) of Litchfield Michigan, Patricia Denney (Peter) of Pampa, Diane Schilling (Eric) of Venice Florida and Richard Smigielski (Janet) of Scottsdale Arizona; her brother Walter Barkey of Venice, Florida; and her grandchildren, Glen Emrick (Christine), Brian Denney (Selina), Lauren Miller (Matthew), Amanda Zimmerman, Michael Zimmerman, Ryan Smigielski and Anne Spanski. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
