It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janice Faye Carter of Pampa, Texas, born in Crowell, Texas, who passed away on January 2, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Arthur Jones and Loreta Faye Athey Jones; her son Adam Neel Carter; and her brother Freeman Jones. She is survived by: her husband Neel Carter; her children, Debbie Gallimore of Pueblo, Cindy Jo Brunholtz of Albia, Lorri Loeffelholtz of Fall City, Angela Burgess of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Rick Claassen of Richfield and Ty Lee Carter of Dalton, Georgia; and her siblings, Sharon Carpenter (David) of Lowell, Pat Bell (Doug) of Moscow, Linda Johnson of Canadian, Jim Jones (Teresa) of Wagoner and Ross E. Jones (Debbie) of Muskogee, Oklahoma. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild on the way; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
