It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Richard Kimbley of Pampa, Texas, who passed away on February 3, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Kimbley and Mary Kimbley; his siblings, Phillip Kimbley, Genevieve Fletcher and Thelma Matthews; his nephew Richard Fletcher; and his niece Loraine.

He is survived by: his wife Florence Velasquez; and his sons, John P. Thraxton (Margaret) of Houston, Robert L. Thraxton of Oregon, James R. Kimbley, Jr. (Alanna) of Amarillo and S. Mark Kimbley of Pampa. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
