He was predeceased by: his father Gary Lee Poisel; his siblings, Jason Lee Poisel and Melody D. Desperois; and his uncle Tex Feiro. He is survived by: his mother Liddie Poisel of Pampa; his wife Cassidee Poisel; his sons, Elijah Benjamin Poisel and James Jacob Poisel, Jr.; his siblings, Gary Lee Poisel of Springfield, Kenneth Poisel of Oklahoma, Bobby Long of Amarillo and Melissa Clevenger (Lee) of Dallas; his nephew Shane Poisel of Pampa; and his mother-in-law Randi Casper of Dallas.
