It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Gist (Pampa, Texas), born in Henderson, Texas, who passed away on May 13, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Gist to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oren T. Gist and Stella R. Herren Gist; his daughter Barbara Brogdon; and his siblings, Edna Wood and Otis Gist.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Pepper; his children, Bobby Gist (Angie) of Amarillo, James Schaub (Lyssa) of Pampa, Steve Schaub (Chanda) of Pampa and Lisa Schaub of Ft. Worth; and his sister Shirley Clark of Booker. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and numerous friends.
