She was predeceased by: her parents, Lem Gaines and Agnes Gaines; her son Ricky Swires; her siblings, Violet Knight, Martha Hogan, Rebeca Wallace, Glen Gaines and Leonard Gaines; and her siblings-in-law, Betty Gaines, Sandy Gaines and Eton Wallace.
She is survived by: her husband David Swires; her son Randy Swires; and her sisters, Loria Tennison (Mike) of Pampa and Judy Chandler (Terry) of Amarillo. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
