He was predeceased by: his parents, Sixto Albear and Rafaela Albear; his spouse Cleofas Torres; and his grandson Erik Drake Johnston. He is survived by: his children, Angela Rivera (Hector) of Pampa, Valeria Johnston (Joel) of Pampa, Sixto Albear of Pampa, Rose Albear of Pampa and George Albear, Jr. of Pampa; his siblings, Canuto Albear of Arlington, Isidra Carpenter of Amarillo, Maria Molina of Fort Myers, FL, Ernestina Villareal of Pampa and Irene Estrada of Amarillo; and his stepchildren, Robert Torres, Joanna Torres and David Torres. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; numerous step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many cousins and other extended family.
