He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Furgason and Lela Bell Furgason; his brother Leon Furgason; and his nephews, Doyle and Terry Furgason.

He is survived by: his wife Helen Crawford; his children, Johnny Furgason (Susan) of Pampa, Jacky Furgason of Pampa and Rebecca Fulton (Doug) of Pampa; his siblings, Joyce Epperson of Pampa and Dwayne Furgason (Frances) of Pampa; his grandchildren, Mikala Furgason (Jonathan Taylor), Kolbi Linder (Ty), Nathan Furgason (Bennett), MaKayla Whalen (Joey), Lorelai Fulton, Alexandria Fulton, Joseph Furgason, Jerritt Furgason, Christian Reeves (Brittany), Nick Wells (Alexis), Payton Wells and Michaela Wells; and his great grandchildren, Aniston Linder, Levi Linder, Theo Scout Furgason, Rylee Whalen, Emilee Whalen, Preslee Whalen, Lane Wells, Marloe Wells and Dezabella Wells.

Due to COVID-19 the church requests that everyone attending the service wears a face mask.
