She was predeceased by: her parents, Jay Daudie and Magnolia Mize of Texas; her husband Milton Theodore Nichols (Borger) of Amarillo; her siblings, Marie Parsley and J. D. Mize; her children, Jerry Nichols and Rose Johnson; and her grandchildren, Valorie Unruh and Roger Nichols.
She is survived by: her daughters, Janice Trusty (Clyde) of Pampa and Peggy Rodriguez (Domingo) of Pampa; her children-in-law, Chris Johnson (Jean Ann) of Pampa and Sandra Nichols; her grandchildren, Carol Trusty of Pampa, Jeffrey Trusty of Pampa, Amy Doucette of Pampa, Richard Trusty of Indiana, Ross Johnson of Amarillo, Bryan Johnson of Amarillo, Scott Johnson of Oklahoma, Angela Garcia of Lubbock and Andrea Smith of Lakeway; and her brother-in-law Winsett Nichols of Key Largo, Florida.. She is also survived by twenty-four great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
She worked as a seamstress at the Marie Foundation and a drapery shop in Pampa.
