He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Frank Carpenter and Ruby Steddum Carpenter; his wife Carol Combs; his children, Donna Porter (Bud) of Duncan, Rick Carpenter (Connie) of Lovington, Cathey Bell of Pampa and Randy Carpenter of Arlington; his grandchildren, Tammy Pulse (Mark), Phil Sexton (Michelle), Kyle Porter (Sarah), Katie Morrow (Dakota), Troy Don Carpenter (Sylvia), Britton Carpenter (Mindy), Chase Carpenter (Kendra), Halley Roberson (Dustin), Maurey Bell Thomas (Phil), Matt Bell (Brittany), Chandler Carpenter, Maurley Carpenter, Kendall Carpenter and Landry Carpenter; and his cousin Pat Kindle (Elouise Hughes) of Pampa. He was also cherished by 31 great grandchildren.
