He is survived by: his son Elmer Whitson (April) of Amarillo; his siblings, Charlotte Graham of Pampa, Sandra Faziola (Joey) of Canyon and Allen Whitson (Leigh Ann Jeffers) of Pampa; his grandchildren, Terri Burr and Jeremy Whitson of Amarillo; and his close friends, John and Debbie Dunlap of Bowie.
