He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Darling and Vera Darling; his son Jacob T. Darling; his brother Tommy R. Darling; his niece Teresa Darling Wallace; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Little Rhea and Kensie Wallace.

He is survived by: his son Noah Darling; his daughter-in-law Tiffany Lowe; his grandchildren, Luna Darling and Lux Darling; and his siblings, Don Darling, Pat Darling, Suzie Sikes (Gerald) and Cindy Carr (J. D.). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to http://www.musicares.org, the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association.
