He was predeceased by: his father Alberto Lopez. He is survived by: his mother Zolia Esperanza Murillo of Utah; his wife Carmensita Lopez of Nebraska; his children, Jacob Lopez of Nebraska, Joshua Lopez of Nebraska, Jason Lopez of Nebraska, Jonathan Lopez of Minnesota and Jessica Lopez of Minnesota; and his brothers, Ernesto Murillo of Utah and Fernando Murillo of Florida. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren.
