He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Olson and Fannie Cole Olson; his wife Rebecca Olson; and his son Willie Downhour, III. He is survived by: his children, Jonathan Olson (Annie) of Borger and Angela Gatchell of Conway, Arkansas; his grandchildren, DJ Olson, Ashley Westbrook (Dakota) and Kylie Lewis; his great grandchildren, James Lee Downhour and Dakota Westbrook, Jr.; and his siblings, Sheila Hardin (Alan), Walter Olson (Jacque), Daniel Olson (Michelle), Richard Olson (Julie) and Penny Reining (Howard). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory (600 N Ward St, Pampa, TX 79065). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Carmichael Whatley Colonial Chapel (600 N Ward St, Pampa, TX 79065).
