With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maria R. Vela of Palmview, Texas, who passed away on October 31, 2020 at the age of 73. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Julia Ibarra and Alberto Alvarez; her husband Jose Vela; her children, Rene Jesus Vela, Martha Bernal (Jaime), Mariela Vela (Ricardo), Mariana Vela (Juan), Miriam Vela (Heriberto), Sanjuanita Cantu (Luis) and Carmen Mayte Vela; and her siblings, Santos Alvarez, Juan Alvarez, Piedad Alvarez, Anastacia Alvarez and Carmela Alvarez. She was also cherished by her 15 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.
Due to the current climate surrounding COVID-19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing.
