He is survived by: his wife Amanda Salinas; his children, Juan Enrique Cantu (Sylvia), Javier Cantu (Maricela), Joel Cantu (Alma), Jorge Luis Cantu (Veronica), Jaime Gerardo Cantu and Ana Lisa Cantu; and his brother Guadalupe Cantu. He is also survived by his 16 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.
