He is survived by: his wife Teresa Alvarez; his father Marcelino Alvarez Sr.; his son Marcelino Alvarez III; his stepchildren, Roberto Gonzales, Vanessa Gonzales and Cecilia Gonzales; his grandchildren, Nathan Alvarez and Preston Alvarez; and his siblings, Gilbert Alvarez (Terri), Ruben Alvarez (Irma), Ricky Gonzales, Tony Garcia, Criselda Alvarez (Jose), Kim Lerma (Lin) and Barbara Jimenez (Roy). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
