He was loved and cherished by many people and is survived in death by his parents, Henry Mayo and Nora Beverly Chappell (Hairston) of Palmer; his wife, Kayna Chappell, his daughter, Aubrey, and his sister Charolette House. He was proceeded in death by his father, James Robert Guthrie and his grandmother, Dorothy Hairston.
