He is survived by: his parents, Melinda Kay Spurgeon and James Lee Spurgeon; his wife Courtney Sloan Spurgeon; his daughters, Ellee Sloan Spurgeon and Jaci Hunter Spurgeon; his siblings, Christopher Ray Bruton and Sarah Jo Spurgeon; his grandmothers, Norma Smith and Mary Spurgeon; his parents-in-law, Timothy Wade Harris and Terri Lynn Harris; and his siblings-in-law, Colby Wade Harris (Britney Harris), Tripp Wade Harris, Kennedy Skylar Vetten (Chase Vetten) and Jessica Lynn Groves (Kurt Groves). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
