He is survived by: his wife Linda Merkich-Newman; his sons, David Newman, Monty Newman and Matthew Newman; his grandchildren, Gunner Newman and Kimberlyn Newman; his sister April Howard; his niece Dianna Howard; his nephew Donald Howard; and his uncle David Foster.
