She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Halliburton and Rosie Halliburton; her husband Earl Burney; her brothers, Willie Earl, Manuel and Sam Halliburton; her son Jimmie Burney; and her grandson Shane Burney.
She is survived by: her children, John, Kay Burney, Brenda, Tandy Shaw, James and Lisa Burney. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Elm Grove Cemetery (Flatonia, TX 78941).
