He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter J. Boykin and Annie Doris Brooks Boykin; and his brothers, Johnny Boykin and Author Boykin. He is survived by: his wife Alecia Boykin of Palestine; and his children, Chuck Boykin of Haslett, TX, Elizabeth Williams (Larry) of Fairfield, TX, Kim Anderson (Rick) of Gulf Shores, AL, Patricia Rohde (Duane) of Lindale, TX, Jermelyn Lansang (Ferd) of San Antonio and Lavilla Mondigo. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Memory Funeral Home (3434 TX-256 Loop, Palestine, TX 75801). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
